~ Joanie's webpage of links for her favorite boats and websites ~

Add my other trimarans, catamarans, monohulls, kayaks and windsurfers -
and I needed a central location to dock my virtual flotilla.

With the exception of my Windrider trimarans, my webpages and their accompanying owner associations were created for the popular, but out-of-production, watercraft I own:  Luger, Wingsailer, Trac and XS Speed.  Their links will direct you to websites I created/published to encourage an exchange of information among my fellow owners.   In addition to these "orphaned" boats, I also have several Hobies (H-14s, Wave and a Float Cat), AquaCat, Laser, Sea Skimmer Snark, Bay Runner, CraigCat, and three sit-on-top kayaks.  I also have four windsurfers:  two Windgliders, a catamaran-style XS Speed,  and an original WindsurferŽ.  I've even started R/C sailing!  ...Please, somebody stop me!

Windriders & Trimaran Sailing - www.ibrake4boats.com
The website concentrates on
Windrider's WR16 & WR10 trimarans, although I also hope to find additional information about my JLdeV International.  Diagrams, mast stepping & trailering alternatives and photos are provided from a variety of sources.  Links to several forums and owner groups are also available.

The Luger Sailboat Mooring - www.lugerboats.com
This a reference website providing information about Luger Industries' sailboats.  The site assists owners with manufacturer-provided catalog photos, model specifi-cations and descriptions.  The Luger Owners Register, an active message board, photo galleries, catalog history and other aids are also provided.

The Wingsailer - www.wingsailer.com
My website was created to find and assist other owners of these splendid sailing contraptions, and to sponsor an exchange of information about this unique sailing craft which employs a wingfoil instead of conventional sails.  Information relayed by the designer is provided, as well as specifications and a guide to wingfoil aero-dynamics, a photo gallery, and an opportunity to join our Owners Association.

Trac Catamarans - www.TracCat.com
Brought from Australia, AMF licensed these catamarans for production in this country from '79 thru '86.  Their unique feature of semi-folding hulls made the 14' model popular for van-top hauling.  AMF dropped their boat division, but the Trac-14 is still manufactured in Australia under the Windrush name.

The XS Speed - A catamaran-style windsurfer
Being a fan of multi-hulls, I was drawn to the catamaran-styling of this sailboard.  The company is out of business, and the XS Speed is no longer in production, but that didn't stop me from bringing one home.  My website hopes to attract other owners for an ex-change of tips, parts, and information.  Basic descriptions and specifications are listed.

The Rocky Gap Hobie Fleet
Our "fleet" is comprised of only seven Hobies - But since our home port is a small lake, the size is just right.  The fleet's objective is to encourage camaraderie between multi-hull owners in the area, but all sailboats are welcome.  The Rocky Gap Hobie Fleet is located on Lake Habeeb, within Maryland's Rocky Gap State Park.

Links listed above are personally-created 'reference' websites for my boats, organizations, and interests.
